Spring Clamps What do you think

I've got $2 u bolts from a farm supply store here. There only 3/8 and probably only grade 2 and they seem to work fine.

Yea, I'll build them tomorrow. He just happened to come across those and I wondered what everyone thought about them.


EDIT: they are too narrow for our springs, lol

I've got a set i made that i am not going to use again , there yours if you want them .

Ya build them not hard or anything I think I will make a few sets in the next week or so and just keep them with me at the track just in case anyone (Well not anyone but any nice guys) needs them.


Lots of free stock to make them from in my shop lol...

I have the same ones that are listed on the top . I bought them way before I knew better. I am no where near big power or race alot , but they have held for me so far . I put them on this spring after I noticed the front plastic spacers missing on my over load springs , to keep the springs from making noise . I had to install them on the very end of overloads where the nose is rounded . my plan is to get a better set , as these look kinda weak .



Trent ,,,,, I have read a few of your threads about traction aids ..... do you just run caltracs and no clamps at all ????
