spitting sputtering missing turbo bark?????

ok i need serious help i have an 05 lly efi live egr blocker finger stick 4" straight exhaust afe cold air intake fass fuel air seperator
ok here we go sometimes when i kill my truck and floor it tries to spit and sputter or its turbo bark or something i dont know but it jerks really bad i even thought that it maybe defueling because of tranny slip please help need to solve:dontknow:

I have the same problems

I also have a 05 LLY. When the it is turned up with PPE HOT+ 2 and the edge box it cuts out violently when gets into third gear and up. This week we are installing the PPE stage 5 upgrades to tranny with the tripple lock converter. Not sure what causes the turbo barking. If it is a boost issue or tranny issue. After the tranny work is complete i will let you know if it changes anything. The truck sits on 38 inch tires so that could part of the problem to! LOL! Oh well.

how much boost?
blocker plate in?
if i raise my boost in efi i to can turbo bark
i have found that if you boost table is not smooth it will also bark
if the changes are to erratic

well it has always done it first started when i had the edge j/a and bully dog power pup stacked originally thought it was missing but i think it maybe a cp3 problem when it does it sounds and feels like the motor completely cuts off for a split second and then comes back all at once and it does it quite rapidly and it jerks really really bad

yes sometimes its really hard to pinpoint i dont know how to data log with efi im thinking that might tell me what it is can some one explain to me how to data log and read it

What tune are you running?...Have you tried a low HP tune to see if it still does it?...From your original post, it won't defuel with EFI Live if it's slipping...Is the FASS working properly/no air leaks?

yes it works properly im running the mcrat race tune i think it maybe running the fuel rail dry i dont know what a safe pressure is or how to record it in the fuel rail

I just finished upgrade to tranny with PPE stage 5 kit. Engine still cuts out its not the tranny causing the problems. Im starting to think it is a fueling problem or something to do with the EGR setup and that stupid vairiable vien turbo ( I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT A LB7). Now that the tranny is done im going to start messing under the hood instead of just relying on the tuners to make the HP! First thing im going to get is the the efi live from McRAt! Stackedup's description of the problem is dead on!

Took the truck out tonight no longer get the limp mode for tranny and loose all gears but fourth. Now the the truck goes into like a limp mode that limits the engine to 1,900 rpms! No lights no DTC's are given. Can anyone tell me what causes this? I hit 40 pounds of boost out of stock turbo would this be an overboost limp? Plz let me know. Thanks!
