How much work would it take/money would it take to install it on an lly? If it is even compatible, and could it be added with the stock one for a twin setup?

Jc u will have to get a install kit in order to make it fit successfully. Yes u could run it in a twin set up but it will cost u about 1500 - 2000 maybe more for the install kit

would it be any improvement over my stock one?

This turbo is quite large for what you are probably trying to do. You could not tow with this turbo and would burn more fuel than you could throw at it with a single cp3.

If you are looking for a better than stock turbo that still retains good driving charachteristics I would look at a GT4088 (theres one for sale a few posts down with an install kit) or i would look at a HTT Mcrat turbo.

What are you wanting to acomplish with your truck JC-BAR?

I would like to have my truck to be able to hit 12.5 in the 1/4 mile before I am done with it.

I was hoping maybe Simon and I could do something with it on the "01". A compound set-up-home built. Or maybe just some testing - $200 why not. And ya we will have to lose the T6 somehow.....

That T6 would be bad to the bone if using that turbo as an atmosphere pump. Just my .02 cents.

Luckily I know a guy with an HTT and 3 CP3's. I think we should be able to get something to work.;)

If you are going to change it you might shoot grayarea a pm. Last I knew he had several different ones laying around. And could get about anything you wanted for a 42 with a phone call or two if you want to go with used.:)
