What are the options for re-calibrating the speedo without a programmer? Are dealers good about it at all? A guy I work with owns a LMM, he's still reluctant to mod his truck. So its kind of a waste for me to use my EFI live to just calibrate his tires. I thought there was a little box for somthing you could get for less than a hundred bucks or somthing.

But is a Tech II limited to just a few tire sizes based on model of truck?

Only programmer I know of just for tire/speedometer correction is one made by Hypertech. No idea if it cost more than a hundred dollar license for EFILive. But if less than the hypertech might as well go that route. In the event the user wants more power then you can program. But either device alters the ECM to a non stock GM calibration nad is trackable on the LMM with a Tech II.
