Hey guys so I'm driving down the road and oil pressure, fuel guage, temp guage all drop to nothing. Battery light came on. Bolts are holding at 14. Trucks running fine. My edge cts is acting very goofy and basically not loading anything. What do u guys think?

A bad battery might be the cause or alternator going bad. I'd think batteries at first. When there weak or bad it can cause some funny things
So got to my buddies place. I can shut it off and restart it no problem. I thought alternator, but volts should drop. I've unplugged the cts twice and it wouldn't even load. So after checking fuses and everything I pulled power off both batteries and are some dinner. Went back out hooked them back up and started, all gauges work, cts powered up no problem no battery light. So not sure what's going on.
I have seen a bad ignition switch cause problems like this. Could be a loose connector in the cluster, as well as bad grounds.
