Try filling a 35gal slip tank on top of the 26gal fuel tank already in the truck. That's a nice $300 touch. And that's before I bought 20gal of premium gas and booze and groceries for a week of camping. Good Times

M-Benz diesel transplant into an S-10, $300 for the truck, $300 for the 5cyl turbo dzl, a few tweaks and 40mpg, here i come! (thankfully that is the most forgiving diesel ever, will run on anything!)

diesel 5is gettign ~35mpg with an auto and TTS tunning..

i think i can hit 45-50mpg with my tunning and a manual tranny

that is a 175-200% mpg increase over what i am getting now

3000 miles @ 45mpg= 66gallons (diesel)@ 5.00$ 330.00
3000 miles @ 20mpg is 150gallons (gas) @ 4.10= 615.00

i think it is worth the $$ to swap over

2.50 in mexico ..... time for me to get 2 tranfer flow tanks and jump across the border .

I was with slowlmm in that pic at gas station , he left me about 200 yds across the parking lot after lunch and made me walk in the rain to the corner .

He got a real kick out of that ....... punishment for smoking .... jack ass !!
