I used to get a p0402 code when I had other tuners, I got a ppe standard and cleared it and it went away but it would come back when I took it back to stock. Sometimes it would take a full day of driving but it would come back.I have had the truck on stock for a few days now ,since I've been having problems( if you are unfamiliar with my recent problems please read the other threads I have posted in this category)any how the code has not come back normally I would not be worried but I mentioned in the other threads ttha I didnt think it was running as good even stock.I got the code as soon as I drove it down the block after my exhaust upgrade I am told that it is due to the cat being removed and the egr seeing to much exhaust flow. am I not getting as much flow now do to loss of horse power or what(this is wierd ) or did the egr take a sh#t I'm freaking out P.S the egr block plate is not in currentlly I took it out incase I have to take it to the shop, also I have had that code the whole time even with that in just not with my new tuner upgrade

P0402 is what you get when you pull the exhuast and don't have a programer to shut if off iirc. Not sure the PPE standard will shut the code off.

I guess I explained it wrong I never got the code until I put my turbo back exhaust on I could clear it with the previous tuners I've hd ( procomp powerpro and then a bullydog triple dog) but it would always come back wether it was tuned or stock. Then I bought the PPE tuner and cleared it the first time I down loaded it and it never came back until I took it back to stock and it came back .But this time I detuned the truck back to stock after my recent problems and it hasn't came back wich is wierd to me because it did every other time I have detuned the truck for whatever reason:(

I just read your posts several times and am still a bit confused...Are you asking why you don't have the code now, but you did before?...If so, I wouldn't worry about it...

Thanks guys I just thought because it doesnt seem to be running the same that the code isnt coming on because the exhaust flow is different do to power loss or something. P.S what Else might make it lose power
