Some people really irritate me!!!!

I have a small 26 gallon compressor in my garage at home, it is about 15 years old and getting very tired.

I start my search on Craigslist for a little bigger compressor.
I find a used 60 gal, 130psi with 14 cfm (likely overrated) for $250. She agreed to $200 if I came on to get it.
It's a US General from Harbor Freight, but for the garage it would be quite adequate........

She tells me it for the works PERFECTLY, has barely a scratch on it.
I call up my bud to help me get it home ('cause my Dmax is still brok),
I put $50 worth of fuel in his Fooorrr, (hell I can't say the word) and we take off.
We get there, see it from the driveway and I was very happy with the appearance...........................then she says..............

"The pressure switch was broken during transport and we don't have 220 to verify it runs, sorry about that"!!!!!!!!!!!!

I nearly went balistic, a 40 minute ride (one way) with a guarantee that it is in excellent shape and works great!!!!!! I tell her I don't want it, SHE gets pissed that I wasted HER time!!

My asswipe bud laughed all the way home!!
He doesn't know it yet, but I will give him his cell phone back tomorrow:roflmao::roflmao:

I feel your pain, had the same problem looking for couches for my buddy. Everyone on CL said their junk was perfect and nice blahh blahh, even when we asked them multiple times, they still said it was suuuper nice. We went to like 3 different places, all of the couches junk, worn spots, burn holes, pets on them. Its like wtf! Total waste of time.
