Hey guys. Figured I give y’all a laugh. Bit of a backstory. There’s a shop close to here that’s been around here for a while and everyone around raves about it. Me? I’ve never been a fan from little bits I’ve heard through the grapevine conflicting with what I’ve read here from pros. The owner drives a ccsb lb7 with a 369 I think. Was talking to a guy from work today, the same one said his LT one Camaro would be my old truck, and he proved my thoughts. Was talking about injectors since he knows the truck that I’m gonna be buying soon. When he was talking about buying some $1200 injectors and I looked at him funny and laughed. He looked at me like I was an idiot and said yeah just cause them injectors you want have a fancy brand name don’t mean they’re any better. So I asked what he’s talking about and apparently the owner of the local place puts Ebay injectors in his trucks and the guy I work with’s sister did the same per his recommendation. So I said yeah how long they been in there and he says April and noooooo problems. I told him wait a bit and I’ll laugh when she’s doing them again. So guess this supposed great shop and owner of a supposedly built truck has a fondness for eBay injectors. Moral of the story. Do your research. Do the work yourself or if you can’t, local isn’t always best.
