Some advice installing Dsp5 switch

I installed my switch yesterday and all went well untill I had to push the ecm pins into the harness.

I found the wire isn't stiff enough to push the pin all the way in and the best way I found is to take the blue plastic cover off that protects the pins on the harness and pull the Dsp5 switch pins the rest of the way down. Also don't forget to de-virginise the pin hole by running a tiny drill bit by hand through the rubber.

I do not have a picture of what the harness looks like, If anyone has one please post it up.

I've been told to use the Biggest or Hotest tune as your base because it sets the limits. Is this correct? Also, will the valet mod of the DSP switch interfere with a pre-installed valet switch? Sorry for hijacking.........

Lol, my brain is going in circles, but i got ya. My original thinking was right i guess. My (idiot)disabilities tend to confuse me and slur my speach from time to time. Guy told me when i got the dsp switch from him that the BASE tune was the limiting factor for the rest of my tunes, which would set he limits for all the others. Which means when I set up the custom os i use my biggest tune as the base? Jack Daniels+computer =:help:
