So i installed a trans go jr. in my truck awhile back and everything went fine, works great. So now a buddy wanted me to do the same for him, no problem. While doing it i had everything all clean and laid out nicely. Well i was cleaning some other stuff and not paying attention, someone decided to look at all the cool parts and moved the solenoids!!!! The trans go says there different colors as well as the o-rings. Well both the solenoids are brown and look the same and both o-rings are black!!! So if i put this all back together and these solenoids are switched, will i have any issues????

If it is a 6 speed you will have 4 on off style solonoids that all interchange, one with a unique red plug which will be teh TCC, and then the 2 trim solonoids. The good news is they are different sizes, and the smaller one will go into the bigger ones hole but not the other way around. Try sliding em in and if it doesn't try to go in then don't force it and try it in the other trim solonoid spot. I intentionally tried switching them before just to see and found that they will only go in one way. So long as you don't force it in and damage the bore you will be fine. Just find the bore that they each fit which isn't hard as you only have the 2 choices.

The 6 speed trim solenoids are the same size but different colors. The A trim is black and goes on the end and B trim is brown and fits next to it ( inside )

I've got one out in the shop from an 07, and the A is black and measures .645 and the B is brown and measures .665. The F or lock-up is red, but I didn't measure it.

Again, for the cheap seats: YOU CAN'T PUT THEM IN THE WRONG HOLES. They are different diameters. One will physically not fit the the other's hole, while the other will flop around in it's counterparts hole and has no hope of sealing.
