Looks like my wife is taking a course with the California Superbike School at Willow springs. The kids have spring break the first week of April. Looking at making a week long vacation around the day long racing school class.

Any tips or suggestions on places to stay, sites to see, etc. We'll have a rental car so traveling isn't a problem.

Thank you,

Not much to do up near Willow Springs, It's up in the desert. Is her class all week long or just one day?

Do whatever you can to relieve stress while driving in there traffic  I love going down there but man that traffic sucks.

Hit the beach for sure for a day. every time we go down we try to visit the beach. Its pretty relaxing to just sit on the sand for a few hours with some towels. Not sure if you been to the ocean much, if you haven't it is worth it.

Newport is fun place to hang out on the beach. Also San Diego is a cool place to visit for the day. We always play it by ear what we are going to do down there. Maybe the kids will get a kick out of the zoo or sea world too.
