Iirc It was the race cam when it came out I believe. I talked to mark broviak bout it a cpl yrs ago n he seemed to really like it. I know several truck pullers used to run it like 3 years ago. I don't think it's a real radical cam.

just wondering if its worth the money, i can get a used one for about $600. and when you add in i already have to get my stock one keyed im only into it for $500 give or take a little. this will be going into my DD so im not really looking for something just for racing but Guy said it has very good street manners.

Why is that? I don't see a need to spend a grand on something I can get for 1/2 price. I almost don't even see a point in it all together but I just thought the price was hard to pass up. Which is why I'm askin what everyone thinks. Right now the truck will have stock heads with new hamilton springs 100 over injectors carrillo rods cut and coated stock pistons head and main studs with stock turbo and stock cp3 for the time. Like would it be better not to do a cam all together and save for dual cp3 or a wicked diesel cp3 or new turbo or get the cam for the price. What would you do?

If you have the money for it, do it.... If you need other things, Id pass. If there is no damage on the used one it will be fine, no sense paying another 300 bones. I do run on a tight budget so I'm more game for used stuff...

I say go for it .... while your in there nows the time . I dont know how much the cam helped my build , but most guys around here are amazed how fast mines spools . you can make almost the same power with a stock cam

Justin i got the 3388 in my sled puller. Was going use it with my gt4094 but now running gt4202r. I dont have any problems with it spooling. I would go for it being that it is half price

You mind if I ask why? You could spend another $80 or so dollars and have SoCal springs with lighter weight retainers and stronger spring cups. I'm pretty sure the Hamilton stuff is just springs and the rest of the hardware is stock.
