I made a stupid mistake and didn't mark where the needle was on the fuel gauge before I removed it. :banghead: Is there any way to get it right on again? I think my Predator tuner will tell the a percentage of what is in the tank but that is still not too accurate.

Anyone know a better way?

Yeah I thought about that too. I suppose I will have to just have to guess how far past the full mark it would go. I'm thinking maybe a needle width past the full line?:dontknow: If anyone fills up soon and could make a note of it...

On your cluster I take it? The instant you plug the cluster back in with the ignition off the needles will reset to 0, or empty in your case of the fuel gauge. Just install the needle at empty right after you plug it in. Worked perfectly on mine.

Yes, the cluster. I was replacing the speedo stepper motor.

Just the answer I was looking for. Thanks!
