Are you assuming your cal tracs are gonna make any difference.... Do you just get really bored and think of stupid threads to start? I'm done now

Well, yes i was expecting them to change the way the rear end tracs and hooks up, isnt that the point???
I had read in posts here that traction bars made the rear wheels more prone to spinning(burning out) and a few guys said in the rain its alot harder to control, so i didnt think my question was entirely "stupid"
I was just wondering if they would make the rear end more prone to kicking out, or fish tailing when the ground is icy.

Sorry to bore your massive intellect on such a ridiculous question, although your fingers did not have to engage the keyboard....

Neither traction bars nor cal tracs do anything when you're acceleration normally. Your axle isn't wrapping under light throttle. So to answer your question, no, the metal bar attached to your axle isn't going to make any difference in rain, snow, sleet, fire, etc. those cal tracs will be awesome when you want to leave the line in 4 hi at 15 psi.

yes it does. not majorly like when you can feel it but the springs do twist some even on a very light take off. its the nature of the beast.

Jason, yes your gunna feel the rear kick out a little more quickly or spin earlier than years past but same can be said for change in tires, change in shocks, ect. if you drive smart, you may never notice it.

Thanks for the input James, i am picking up the truck from Idaho(i am in northern washington), and will have a pass or two to go over, i doubt i'll have a problem, and believe me i will quickly find out what it'll do when i get behind the wheel again, i always try to be as informed as possible though!

The truck has been in idaho since aug 6th, i haven't even seen it in 6 weeks, when last i saw it she was waiting to have the trans put back in at ultimate transmission, now its got a built trans, bigger turbo new tunes from rob and cal-tracs so its gonna be a completely different feel/ride, so thanks for the input
