Snow in the South

tell me about it. we had about 1-2 inches of snow last week here in vegas. most snow ive seen in my life:rofl:.....i didnt like it:baby:
I'm in NC waiting as well. There are a few variables affecting this storm. All depends on the low pressure system offshore as well as a dry air storm up north counteracting this event. They are calling for a lot of snow then transitioning to ICE!!!!!
This winter is pretty weird. We usually get a lot of snow up here. This year you can still see the grass in some places. To give you an idea I've plowed my driveway once so far this winter. It just doesn't make sense...

Well we were supposed to be expecting 4-6 in my area according to the forecast a few days ago. But now we are to expect nothing but ice and sleet. Now....
Oh and did i mention we are still required to go to work tomorrow even if everything is iced over. Drive thirty miles and cross 4 bridges after 12 hours of freezing rain. I don't think so. Up north ya'll have salt trucks here..... We are messed up lol. And the power goes out in thomasville everytime it snows or we get a heavy ice because the power lines and trees cant tolerate the ice.

It's just started sleeting here, and they are predicting couple inches of snow. Schools are already closed. When we see more than just sleet; I will update...
Have fun with all that snow! We are just getting single digit temps here. However due to some recent snow and the fact that we salt our roads, my truck is one big crusty chunk of salt and you can see it from a distance, which is sad because it is a white truck! Maybe I'll post a pic tomorrow.
