Last year I was running pretty consistent high 12s at the track, this was with 18'' wheels 33'' Nitto terra grapplers, stock blown rear shocks with 150,000 on them and crappy pro comp front shocks.

Now this year the last couple of times I have gone have been low 13s and I'm getting pissed!! I have QA1 double adjustables on the front, Rancho 9000s on the rear, springs clamped and 29'' bfgs on stock rims. I'm running EBC brakes to which dont seem to be holding me at all on the line now for some reason. My 60' times have been 1.8x. I dont get it

Forgot to ask you on the phone, what tire pressures are you running front and rear? I got the best results on BFGs with 28 in the rear and 38 in the front - but they were 285-75s. Maybe soften up the rear shocks some. If your traps speeds are also down than make sure you don't have a boost leak or anything.

I was at 38 in the front and around 32 in the rear with 265/75- r16. I'll try to up the pressure a hair in the front and drop that back some and soften up the shocks. I'm thinking about getting Dustins slicks, but I want to see if I should just stay with taller tires since that worked best.

I would keep the front pressure where it is and go lower in the rear. I would also leave the rebound on the front as stiff as you can but would test softening the rear. BTW a 265-75R16 should measure about 31.5, so you may not have lost as much height as you think. When I went from 32" tires to 28" cheater my 60' times got better (1.66 to 1.58), ET stayed the same at 12.40, and trap speed went from high 107 to high 106. After a little tuning I got down to 12.36 @ 108 on the cheaters though. As long as you are still in your power band (which you easily should be) the shorter tires shouldn't hurt you in the big end ETs.
