last winter i replaced the head gaskets on my 05 lly... i also removed alot of modded part and installed stock stuff back on it.... heads were taken to a machine shop where the valves were regound new valve stem seals and they were cleaned up a bit... new grade c gaskets were installed and new head bolts.. when i go to start the truck up after its sat for a wile it will shot a puff of smoke out... or if it sits and idels for a little bit like if you sat in the parking lot wile someone ran in to the store for a few mins... it will smoke again for a few seconds... then it clears up and goes away....
ive been watching my coolent it hasnt moved.. oil seems fine... i thought maybe it was the turbo so i installed a lower milage lmm turbo... i also installed an lml manifold... everything looked good in the exhaust ports... checke the balance rates they seem to be in spec...
anyone have any ideas as to what i should try next? i did put a diffrent cp3 pump on it... i also have a short video of a start up but i dont know how to post it up here..

. that is why you do not hit the seal installer with ANYTHING! just push them on with your hand and make sure you cant get your finger nail between the seal and the lip on the guide
