slicks or drag radials

Thinking about trying a new setup this year,my truck is 2wd and I currently race with the factory wheels with m and h 275x55 16 drag radials,with good prep my truck has cut 1.72 60 ft,and with poor track conditions around 1.85-1.88. I was either going to run m and h slicks,or a wider and taller drag radial. I like the radials because I don't have to get them hot to hook,but slicks are probably more sticky. Radials feel good when I race on them,I have heard with bias plys on back and radials on the front it can walk a little. Any info would be great,I have talked to someone else about this,just wanted more feedback,nthanks.

Thought about m and h cheaters as well,for price reasons only. If I do get a new setup I would sell my old ones.

The radials will not hookup as well as the racemaster slicks.

I saw those 17 drag radials,12 inch tread ,I think 29 tall. M and h seems good to me,those little radials I have launch good for a 2wd,just to narrow. Well its either m and h nostalgia or the wide radials,guess money will play in

On a 2wd, I'd do the M&H Nostalgia, these are what I had bought to run on my 2wd truck but sold out before I got it to the track. Think it's a great size for a truck. 12" wide and 31.5" tall.
