Skyjacker CEO Lonnie Mc Curry says he may pull his A&E sponsorship if Phil Robertson is canned. Some of the other advertisers are feeling the same way. The DD crew says they may not continue the series without him and there is talk about some other network may want to pick up the DD series. It's good to see people starting to push back against all this one way pc crap.

I totally agree, not that im anyboby but I will boycott A@E except DD of coarse and im glad to see people pushing back.As successful as DD has been I can not believe that A@E wouldn't stand behind its cash cow called Duck Dynasty.I would love to see them all walk and go to a competitor.:thumb:

in all honesty if it was my family that this happened to i would just walk away from it all, yeah you might get stuck paying a little back but screw them man. Really im pretty sure theres another channel out there that can do all these shows and put a&e in the dirt!

Im 100% for phil & the DD crew. Won't hurt my feelings one bit if they tell A&E where they can stick it. Apparently their agents son is on CompD & says there's about to be a LOT more to come but can't/won't go into any details.

I guess a good honest country christian guy like Phil just can't get a break with those liberal nut suckers. It is a pure shame America has come to the point that the principles it was founded on are run into the ground.

I'm a little confused. I don't think what he said was very hateful, but that's my opinion. What I do know is that if my ass were to say that at work... I'd get a foot in the ass and shown the door as well. As would most people bitching about A&E's decision. So why is it a surprise they kicked him from the show?

All large corporations have zero tolerance policies to protect from discrimination lawsuits, and Phil is an employee since he is being paid by A&E, so this leaves them liable. I don't exactly see what choice they have. I'm not knocking his belief or his 1st amendment rights, but its was a poorly timed comment...

i don't know if what he said was right or wrong...what i do know is this gay marriage BS has been rammed down our throats(no pun) for the past 10 yrs or so. The country is literally going down the shitter and all we hear about is this BS.

I'm not a bible beater but he is entitled to his opinion. This was literally the only good show on A&E but I'd like to see it on another channel after them caving in to such a small minority. I believe in freedom of speech and religion which is pretty much gone as far as I'm concerned with such a progressive state run media.

What happened to the days when if you didnt like something someone said you just ignored it and didnt watch that show. People will just complain now and get the show canceled. If you dont like it change the channel:thumb:

I don't get it,i can go out and voice my opinion and say what I think of gay marriage but Phil does and its a problem.Whats the difference if some star is for it and goes on there and says he is for it........that offends me! There now its even can we just drop the shit against Phil and get back to a good wholesome family doing a tv show.

Exactly. This has absolutely NOTHING to do with the first amendment. It's purely a dispute between employer/employee. It cracks me up how quick people are to jump on a bandwagon without knowing what is really taking place. I'm all for the Constitution and small govt, but that is neither here nor there.

On another note while the whole country was caught up in the Phil Robertson saga, congress PASSED THE NDAA 2014.

Probably going to see a lot more religious persecution in the coming years. You gotta admit that Phil has stones to go in that magazine and stand up for his beliefs in front of a national audience. How many of us would do that?

....and there ya go. Government by "sleight of hand". ;) Keep the public distracted by inane, stupid crap and Washington can do whatever they want.
It all goes hand in hand.
