Info: Site will be moving to new server on Nov. 12th

If nothing gets in the way I am moving the site to a new server next weekend. The current server is coming up on 5 years old so before there is a hardware problem we are going to be upgrading. I'm moving 4 forums so it is going to take a while so if you can't get on the site for most of the 14th don't be alarmed.

I've pretty much abandoned diesel place, towing section on DF/CF, Pretty much it's here and compd which is still privately owned, idk if PSN is private owned or not

X2. I'm here and competition diesel from time to time, but ever since DF went to the enhanced version I rarely look over there.

Format is not changing. Staying with VB 3.8. Only doing a very minor security update since the system will be down anyway.

I don't like how VB 4 looks for the most part and nether 4 or 5 is very stable especially when doing upgrades.

As for firing Mike L. that is still under discussion.

This is really more about a hardware replacement/update to try and keep the site up and running.

No different than I did 5 years ago for the server we are on right now.

Still going to happen today. I have been uploading the files for the site since last night (a lot of pictures). As soon as I have the files uploaded the site will be taken down and then I can move the database. And then I will upload any new pictures that were added since last night.

No time frame yet so it will happen when it happens.

I am still uploading some attachments and I have a few things to test. Also the right now the garage software will not run.

But the main forum is working.
