I've upgraded the site to the newest version of vBulletin. I believe I have all of the extras working such as the Timeslip links etc. Let me know if you notice anything strange (not counting some of the users here ) or any problems.

:nanawrench:Going back to the coal mine to keep working on the site.

The laptop works just fine everywhere else. I've tried going through the main website, from links sent in post reply notifications, and my favorites tab and all I ever get is "cannot find server." The main page loaded for me once this week, but only had little red x's where all the pictures should be. As soon as I clicked on Salad Bar it went back to cannot find server.
I'm having McRat witdrawls! As you can tell, I'm on my desktop now and everything works just perfect.... I dont get it!

You might try clearing the cashe of your browser. If your using IE go Tools>> Internet Options >> select "Delete files" check "Delete all Offline content" and hit OK, it might take a minute or 2 to run. You could also clear your cookies but you will have to re-login to all the sites that you go to. Then see if your laptop can get here.

Are there any updates for your (MaxFarmer) web user. Like a new version of IE or Mozilla or Netscape or whatever it is you are using? Have you tried a completely different web service from the one you typically use. For isntance, try Mozilla if you normally use IE. Just a thought. I've had similar situations before and that seemed to help (I could get on sites via one but not the other  )

It is finally working! Unless the site did something in the last few days, there is only one thing I can think of. After reading Mitch's post, I got to thinking that my desktop always automatically downloads windows updates before it is shut off. My laptop (that I just bought used 4 or 5 months ago) has never done it. It was re-formatted when I got it and I never turned the auto updates on. So, many, many windows updates and restarts later the site is working. I just cant figure out why the site update would cause a problem?
Anyway, I DONT CARE--IT WORKS!! You dont realize how great this site is until you cant use it!
