More damn electrical gremlins. The SIR light has been on in our 02 for awhile now. Replaced the Module last winter and fixed it for the time being but it is back on.
Replace the hydroboost the other day and while under there noticed that a relay was very hot after the truck had been sitting for a day. It was the lower of the two 4 pin relays on the right side of that relay box where the trailer wiring harness plugs into.
Anyways i pulled it out, looked it over and put it back in. Still no change.
The issue is somewhat intermittent.
The security light, ABS light and SIR light are always on. The fuel gauge goes empty and battery light randomly come on along with the display for the shifter going away (like a bad NSBU).
Kinda lost on this one haha.
