do you have an exhaust brake in your tuning? if you do, like me, i would think that would be a big reason to stick with a vvt, like the 4094. even if you only tow a few times, hard to imagine NOT having one now!

That's a good point, I enjoy the vvt exhaust breaking.

I like the idea io going ahead and switching to a t4 pedestal since I know I will always want more

I ran a 4094 for about a yr on the pulling truck when it was still my daily driver. It was laggy somewhat but with right tuning it was fine. I actually use it on the farm some pulling water tanks and peanut trailers and it was fine

I just got my batmo S475 installed on my truck Saturday.. And you may call me crazy but it Is pretty streetable.. Yes it is not as responsive as an s466 but, the boost hits SO much harder.. And off the line.. Whit my hi stall converter I can build enough drive pressure to get the turbo lit early off the line.. But, it is all in the tuning as well.. I almost when with a s466 and was hesitant at first but, I'm glad that I went with the S475.. It is
A hell of a charger with the batmo ;)

how easy should it be to break 600hp with the 4094vvt? I dyno'd 554 with the stock turbo on an all out tune. I'm ok running a fairly big tune as long as my EGT's come down.

Trey now you just need to twin it with a GT55 lol

Wow I couldn't even imagine.. I am actually considering it to tell you the truth.. After the last few days of riding around and getting a feel for it, I thing that a gt55 may be in my future. I should do it before I build just to see what happens haha. Tell you what, if someone will donate a new LLY block, I will have her compounded after my next paycheck.. Just hope my rods fly though where I put the hood stack ;)

Dustin tuned a truck that dynoed a little over 600 hp , with 100 overs, stage 3 floorit cp3.. And all air mods..with a stock charger.. So it can be done with stock air.. I can't see a 4094 vvt having a problem achieving your goal.. like I said before its all in good tuning..
And in my opinion the 4094 is not really worth the money for the small hp you gain.. If you are looking to go big hp later then go with a s366 batmo or like I did s475 and defuel to a 600hp.. You will always want more hp, and when you do, you will have that option with a bigger charger.. Just my 2 cents

DAMN YOU GUYS AND YOUR 475 SINGLES!!!!! i went from stock to a 66/73/16 HTT with the intentions of compounding it later. with just that one charger, i about cream myself everytime the boost hits. it feels awesome. i keep hearing/reading about how the 475 hits and now i want to ditch my compund idea and just get a 475 for the sole reason of feeling that boost hit and hearing the tires break. damn. damn. damn. daamn. :baby:

dmaxchris on here has a 4094vvt and 40% inj with stock pump and dynoed this spring at 603hp on a inertia dyno that wasnt loading much, so depending on tuner, 600+ should be pretty easy to get

x 2 600hp ant that hard to get, were on a stock charger and put 578hp to the wheels this june at fass. you dont need much more than stock to hit 600hp.
were running 45% over sticks 50% over pump, ported heads and air mods. its easy to do.

Can you get the 4094vvt with different A/R or does it only come one way as a drop in?

Trey, I saw your truck the other day, it looks awesome! Dustin installed a billet S475 on my truck while yours was there. I have to agree the hit of these new billet S475's is undescribable. I never would have guessed id lose traction at 40 mph! Although I have nothing to compare it to, it spools pretty good. A big part of that is the trans tuning. Dustin raised my shiftpoints a little to stay on the charger. Also something I did'nt count on was raising the shift points seemed to make my trans shift way better.

How much hp you think could I squeeze out of a s464 with a stock cp3/injectors and how would you expect egt's to be? Just figured spooling the 464 would be a lot easier than the 472 but I'm just guessing.
