I would like to do a single turbo but am a bit limited with a tight converter. I personally have a preference on either a fixed or variable vain. Just lookin for some input from guys that are running a single with this converter.

I ran a GT4094R PPE kit with my 1057 and it was great for DD and high altitude towing. With that said it was a 68mm turbo so I would say go with either a GT4094AVNT or a modified stock turbo like a Danville 68mm. If you go fixed vain an S366 would be a good option as well. They are fairly inexpensive now.

Just stick with a tight rear sir.

83mm s400
81mm s300

There are some good performing s464 models that are in the 750 range.

WE installed an II 366 on Polaris7 X's 07 lbz , it had a precision ml in it and after tuning it was 1 of the most impressive singles I've been in.That being said not sure how the 1057 will react in relation to the ML but I'm sure you will be fine.

What will I have to do with the pedastol if I decide to buy this turbo?

You can get this turbo as a t 3 for being a little more responsive, or t 4 making more power in the upper rpms.the bd pedestal that comes with it is in need of being ported pretty bad but will flow fine the way it is.The turbo comes with a waste gate so other then those things I mentioned not sure what you would need to do to the pedestal. Also if you plan to twin in the future this is an excellent turbo for that but I would suggest the t3 per to help with any lag.

I ran a 1057 with my S475 for a year, although it was too tight for that charger it wasn't a complete pig. Daily driving was fine, the only time it was really a problem was trying to build boost at the line when drag racing. Best I could manage was around 1.9 60' times.

I have a T3 II silver Bullet (66/74/14) and run an ATS 5 star that iirc is about 1750 stall and it is a great combination IMO. I think the 1057 would work very similar. I love it. Drives great, tows great, and works well plowing snow too.
