I'll join in:)

Was looking for a 4cyl to putz around in, save some gas, and have something a little smaller than the cc/lb LBZ or the Express van to drive.

Found a 2011 Scion xB:D

Laugh all you want. I like it.

:happy2:

4 tanks of fuel and I'm avg 35ish mpgs out of the 2.4L 5 sp stick.

If you take the Poppy topper off, will it fit in the bed? :roflmao:

I am looking for a Golf TDI as we speak for exactly the same reasons (well, and because the Tahoe has gone to Chevy heaven)....

Nice ride, I like the several little "box" cars that are out there.

i put the wife in a '05 civic hybrid awhile back. been averaging 45mpg through the week, and 50 on trips. ~600 miles on a tank of 87.

it replaced the '05 pt cruiser turbo which got 20mpg through the week and 23 on trips. we ran 89 octane in it. great car, and great power, but it liked the fuel.

i was driving a '99 s-10 4cyl. 5 speed up until recently. that little bugger would knock down 31mpg. it tossed its timing chain at 255k miles.
now im moving over into a '90 civic hatch with a motor out of a '95 civic vx. should get 50-55mpg hwy.

How many miles on it, any issues? How is the performance?

2500 miles.

No issues. Only some behavior adjustments. (plugging it in when you can)

Sport mode is perky. Surprizes everyone that takes a drive in it. Handles very well. Rides like a dream. Super quiet. I sneak up on pedestrians all the time.

This is no Prius. I recommend you take one for a test drive. It isn't fair to compare this with a Cruz or some other tiny car. More of a mid-size dispite only being a 4 seater.

How much on average has the electrical bill went up due to charging?
