How are you allowed to pull stinger on stinger trailers? Thats not legal anywhere i know of, goosneck/stinger is ok. But bumper/bumper is a no no

I've downloaded the Oklahoma Motor Vehicle Code (keep a copy in my truck) and the Oklahoma rules basically state; "The tow vehicle for double-tow must be 3/4 ton or greater and the over-all length can't exceed 65 ft." The Oklahoma Motor Vehicle Code "does not" establish any requirement for a goosneck tow vehicle.

I've had several people come up and say, "you can't do that, or you've got to have a goosneck to do that." And my replay is, "show me the written requirement to back up your statement." And, no one has ever come up with anything to back up their assertion. :thumb:

My trailer is a Pace GT Shadow 24 ft enclosed, 28 ft OAL trailer that I use to haul my drag car and all the support stuff that goes with it (pit vehicle, generator, tools, race gas, etc.).

I added (fabricated) a Class-III hitch receiver into the rear frame rails along with the safety chain connections and trailer light plug. Now I can tow my golf cart and its trailer to drag races, which is my pit vehicle to get around at large tracks.

Kansas when I am home
interesting... We have been stopped before in ks, col, and Nebraska for twin stinger. no fines but stopped and warned each time as the trailer was tagged "new trailer in transit" to or ranch.

I have been seeing more and more triples and even quads on semis around here, perhaps they have backed off the law a bit.
