Silver canisters on top of the motor

what are the two silver canisters on the top of the motor? (are they vacumn related?) I started tearing the truck apart tonight and it looks like i need to remove them, when I started to loosen the 15mm bolt on top it started to leak air that smelled kinda funny so i tightened it back down and decided i would ask you guys if that is how i should remove it.... other than that things are going pretty well, alot of the wiring is out of the way as is most of the piping (air and coolant) should be ready to pull it this weekend! -Jeff

Jeff just keep the lines together and move the A/C off to the side

Thanks guys, but what about removing the 15mm bolt, like i said before it sounded like air was escaping, is that ok?

Don't take it loose. Just take the whole compressor and all loose and move it to the side. That way you don't loose your AC charge.
