silicone spray on heat wrap??

i wrapped my rdl up pipes and before i install them i was wondering if i should use a silicone spray or not?

what spray is recommended, I need to rewrap my hot pipes as they got soaked in coolant.

Are the silicone sprays able to handle the heat??? I've seen a lot of posts condemning silicone spray over wraps.

did some google searching, are you guys referring to DEI HT silicone spray? they claim 1500ºF which is rather impressive for something like silicone.

fyi siliconeintakes.com has header wrap pretty cheap and up to 6" wide.

Dei is what i use...i use the titanium wrap and spray the pipe before i wrap it and the wrap after....hopefully it helps keep rust away longer......the titanium doesn't hold water as bad as the other...
