Anyone out there that can give me some insight on a failing FPR? Trucks been acting up lately. I've got codes to give, but I left the paper in garage. Truck just turned over 200,000 back in November. Truck throws a fit every once and a while to where it lopes rough at idle, loud chatter under hood, wont rev or drive over 2,000 rpms. Go start it the next day and its fine for a few days. Was on cruise control a few weeks ago before Christmas, and the whole truck starts shaking and vibrating, and kicks out of cruise. Again at that time, wouldn't go over 2,000 rpms. I'll have the codes later if I can find them. Just trying to get a head start on issues. Thanks all!!!

Lope at idle. Random chatter from fuel pressure.. Sounds like failing fpr

Are they known to come and go? One week its fine, next week it acts up.

Yup, generally you notice it more at idle but they get a sticky spot from either a bad spot in the coil or a burr on the slide. Mine would cause a slight lope in idle while in drive and would cause a lope coming to a stop while i coasted. Even tried turning the lift pump pressure down. it got to where it would stick open every once and while and at that point, i replaced it

Here's the codes I pulled last week on it, PCM P0088, PCM P0089(couldn't find much info on this one), PCM P0090, those are all codes with fuel in description. Also threw a P0101 code too. The CEL is on now, but haven't checked codes yet. Sounds like a family of squirrels chattering under the hood every morning after startup.
