shutter between shifts

What would cause my truck to shutter in between shifts I noticed it a week ago and it's gradually getting worse now right before it hits lock up it shutters really bad and then bangs into lock up. Is this a sign my converter is on its way out?? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Mine does the same, I believe it's torque converter shutter, usually happens in 3-4 and 4-5 shifts.

Stock trans? Tuned truck? What are your mods? It sounds like the converter. Time for the next level of fun with built trans if its stock.

I've never felt/seen a converter shutter while just driving, unless under good power or load... Sounds like a trim valve or tuning issue...

mine seems the same when downshifting and pulling hard on the FWY with hot tune, Stock trans doesn't like it

Dose it in all tunes trans has been fine up to this point. Not throwing any codes fluid looks fine. I'm almost thinking this converter is shot

No lock up no and no nothing new

does it do it when the converter is locked or unlocked?

Mine was doing this also. I started looking into it but I sold my truck before I got very far. I think it was a tuning issue.

Adjusted the switch on the side of the trans and the shutter completely went away

Open this back up the problem has came back up not as bad as it was now it's just a slight shutter right after it shifts

I've seen a couple do this curious as to what it is also. I always just figured it was the converter.
