LB7: should i do head gaskets while upgrading? when to do head gaskets?

ok i am looking at upgrading my cp3 to a exergy sportsman cp3 and upgrading to a 64mm turbo. and my 15 over injectors with 45 over sac nozzels. i have 180k miles on motor should i have head gaskets and studs replaced?

Not necessary in my opinion. But not a bad idea if you want the piece of mind. Also, if your doing the work yourself, and have a lift, lifting the cab and doing all these things at once is nice.

I dont know how others think, but in my opinion. If its not broke dont fix it, throw the parts in it and see how far it will go! I think you will be surprised.

and unfortunately i have to have someone else do the work.

Are you planning a new tune and if so,I recommend someone from this site , they are all great people and a good tune can never be overstated !

yes i am. i have been talking with Brent at LDS. closest to me also. 4 1/2 hrs
putting some numbers together for me for parts and install and retune
