Should cp3 return fuel wile pumping primer???

Sorry for posting again.. No one can seem to answer my question.. I have an issue with a truck.. You can pump the primer, it gets hard.. But bleeds off thought the cp3 return in about ten mins.. So my question is, shold the pressure from the primer bleed off thought the cp3 return?????

I'm positive the primer won't hold pressure more than a minute or so... There is a return test on here for the CP3 that Fermantor posted... Let me see If I can dig it up.

I can't find it now. Maybe PM Ferm.

What you're experiencing is completely normal. The CP3 has passages for lubrication and cooling that go from the supply side to the return side. Like Burn Down said, the system will not hold pressure for an extended period of time.
