Thanks for the offer! Local Cummins shop said I could use his place to wrench.. About 15miles away
Honestly I'd rather limp 4 hours towards home then 4 hours opposite direction.. Dealer said the can't get the oil cooler housing by close of business today.. Just 420.00 bucks.. Merchant has it for 384.00.. And PPE has the delete for 300.00

Sounds like you have it covered but only place I know down there is Cedar City Diesel in Lebanon, TN (other side of Nashville from where you're at). Meechum is a really good guy though.

id be curious how your oil temps do without the factory oil cooler and towing big loads.

Oh I remember it but I've been curious what the oil temps will do without the factory cooler and just an aftermarket oil cooler for air-to-oil with a fan on it. I wasn't implying to run without any kind of oil cooler lol.

Watching temps, I can see oil and coolant following along with each other till thermostats open (oil always ahead of coolant temp though). Then pulling hills, you can watch oil temp climb to 230 and the fan kicks on. Once oil temps hit 240, coolant temp starts to rise. Oil then will go above 240.

Oil seems to put an extreme load of heat on the cooling system based on the gauges. Everyone seems to think the stock one doesn't work well at all but I feel differently. Only way to tell that is by running a cooler separate of the cooling system for the oil.

Hence my thought of running the Poe block off.

PPE has the delete a lot cheaper than the 460.00 I just spent with tax for whole new cooler.... .. Now is not as cheap as couple days or next week... Obviously
I run a more aggressive fan clutch than stock. Its on by 200°ect.. Oil temp above 215° the fan is on almost constantly. While ideally sticking a 925 or pair of 640s in front of the radiator stack wouldn't really help everything else... Truck seams to run better when oil is ~200°
.found these searching for setrab dealer...

Only thing I don't like is they are right up on the cooler.. If they are set off 1-2" put more negative pressure across the cooler means better cooling

Right now. The current 60k of aux coolers IMO Isn't big enough to run by themselves... I'm thinking pair of setrab 640 coolers 12x12 basically pair of high flow 12" fans.... Currently got ~2000 cfm on 60k btu of coolers.. The plan/idea ~3-3500cfm on 120kbtu worth of coolers
Current setup

Pair if Jegs 10" 1000cfm fans they are divided so they can't cross pull

Your running the 6.5 fan correct? I need a new clutch on mine. I noticed last time towing it was not fully locking.
