Has anyone ever shipped an allison? I want to have mine built but Im curious how much it will cost me and who to ship through. Looking at a 500 mile trip each way.

Call over to freightquote.com and ask for Tom Finken. His number is 800.323.5441 x1362. Tell him you are a friend of mine(Josh Lanoha-Omaha, Ne) and would like his help to ship a transmission. Ask him how to make it as cheap as possible when it comes to packaging. For instance, it is cheaper to make a crate than to just ship on a pallet. It is also worth asking about dropping off at the carriers terminal. He will help you get a good deal. Make sure you tell him you know me though, he is very helpful.
