Anyone have a round about price for doing this? or the best method. The boxes are so heavy I don't have a scale big enough to do it. I would say 2 of the 3 are 150+ pds.

It's my McGaughys 7" Lift kit. It come on a pallet to me but I tossed it.. Getting another pallet is no problem.

I'm looking on websites and see a freight class codes for estimates and can't find WTF it means no matter where I look.

My box info:

Box 1: 45" x 15" x 16" 150 pds.
Box 2: 22" x 16" x 12" 150 pds.
Box 3: 22" x 7" x 7" 75 pds.

Go to freightcenter.com and request a shipping quote. They can find the correct shipping codes for you and then they will search all carriers in your area and give you the best quote. Good rule of thumb is pay for more than it actually weighs to cover differences in scales at different depots along the way.

Alright. I choose Automotive --> Accessories ---> Palletized for each of the 3 boxes and I've attached the picture for the quotes I got...

Seems expensive?

On Edit: This is for Canada, I did change to a Chassis category and it's still around $400.

As long as the boxes dont overhang the pallett I dont see why not.

Thanks!

No the box is the same length as the pallet. I don't have any metal bands or the proper tools to do it so ratchets is all I have.

Hopefully they won't frown on me.

Now, I need a broker! Another step that I didn't know I needed after I sold this..

The buyer is currently working on a broker that he thinks will save some money but we are open to all options.
