I was wondering where is the best place to start with the fueling during a shift on an LBZ, In the ECM or the TCM. I'm having some tie up problems on the 3-4 shift i'm pretty sure (Mike L. informed me) and my P2 planetary informed me. Also after resetting the TAPS almost all the shifts have felt a little wierd how long does it usually take for them to come back into alignment? I remember in our LLy there was a table in the ECM that you could adjust how much defuel there would be just before a shift. I dont have efi in front of me right now so i'm not totally sure what it was called But the LBZ doesnt have a table like that that i'm aware of. I searched through some posts but didnt find exactly what i was looking for so i was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. Is the defueling done on the base injection table? if it is how does it determine at what RPM the shift is going to happen? I havent had time to do any logging yet or really sift through the TCM tune but hopefully this weekend coming up i'll make some time as i've been neglecting this problem for a long time...haha

Put in stock tcm tune and stock ecm tune and see how it shifts. Anytime there are problems with a truck and think it's tuning related, best to go to stock and drive for a while.

unlike the LLY, your shift defuel is at the mercy of the TCM. However, the way you set up the ECM tune, this can be a good or bad thing. Shift RPM is in the TCM
