Service Air Bag

My service air bag light came on does anybody have any ideas how to fix this sucker

Check connection on column. Does it have steering wheel radio controls? You could have a broken ribbon in the steering wheel. That would cause the same codes. If its broken them radio controls won't work.

The controls still work on the steering wheel

Find out what the codes are and let us know. Could guess all day long and still miss it.:thumb:

Have you checked the airbag plug in wire under the column? They will sometime loose connections and set the airbag codes. It will be a bigger yellow wire/cord.

Gonna watch this. My airbag lights been on for a couple months now, still can't find out why. Checked all of the above, no grounds, pinched wires or loose plugs.

how about the sensor in the front bumper. Not real sure where it is but I think there is one up there that can go bad.
