So... This may turn into a little bit of a story, but some may remember from my 1st thread... "ATS blew up"
Bought this 07.5 with ATS in Colorado a few months ago, drove it 3 hours trans went out. (no "service 4 wheel drive light" at the time)
The trans was removed by one shop, and taken to ATS on a pallet where they fixed it.
The story I'm getting from previous owner is that the truck was started for power steering with the trans out of the truck, so they could move it. They say this is the reason for the 4x4 light on start up. I've been driving it like that since, but adding some idaho-rob tunes and want to address this problem before hand. They thought it would go out with a few key cycles, but did not and told me a dealership would have to do it.
My questions are.... Does this sound like it makes sense? Can transfer-case codes be reset with a Tech2? I'd really like to avoid the dealership if possible.
Thanks in advance-
