Today I noticed an oil leak in front of engine. Checked oil and added 5qt which quickly leaked back out. Had the truck towed and will hear from shop in the morning. 
Anyone with some history of front seal or anything else that could cause this? Have kept truck well maintained. 2002 2500HD Duramax crew 2 wheel drive. 228K miles. No problems. Just replaced alternator and battery a week ago. Other than a little smoke, no oil pressure problems, only thing that got my attention was some oil on driveway. No other problems since purchased new.
Appreciate any heads up on potential problems and prepare me to talk to mech. After I chat with MECH I'll be back with more questions.
