Seat Heaters have a mind of their own

Anyone know why my seat heaters keep turning on and off by themselves? It only happens every once in a while. I can watch them turn on high, then they will go to medium, then low then shut themselves off. Then come right back on. Every time they turn on I shut them off, but it happens just about every 30-45 seconds. Any ideas? Thanks

happened to me towing 5ver in 95 degree weather and the ac recirculate went up so it wasn't blowing that hard. one hot trip. the dealer fixed under warranty. it was the buttons on the door.

I don't know if it would be a similar problem or not, but my brother had his powerseat switches go backwards on him and it turned out the module just needed to be programmed.
But I would say it is more likely the relay or switch in your case.

There could be earthing problem, so please take the vehicle to the garage for the thorough check up.
