Search function suggestion

Hey Rob, is there any way to exclude the Vin check section from the search function? I tried specific areas but then I can only search one section at a time. I gave up weeding through 12 pages of vin checks to find any info.

I'll have to look. But you can select multiple sections by holding down the Control key while clicking on sections to search.

Looking at that area 1 problem is I might wind up eliminating the TSBs, GM Specs etc. also from searches.

Thanks Rob! I didn't know about the control key to select multiple sections, that will help.

Would it be possible to make vin checks a separate section and then block it out? It seems any word you type in triggers 3000 vin checks.

Made the change but not going to be doing that again. I had rebuild the search indexes for the VIN area to not show up. Too hard on the server rebuilding them.

I don't post many of my questions because I know I've read about them before I just have to find it. I'd rather not clutter up the site when there are more innovative things to be discussed than my issues.
