I know most of you are going the other way (down) with your trucks but I went up a couple of weeks ago. I put on a pro-comp 6" front 4" rear lift kit. Everything went good until about the end. With my SD centerlink, my tie rods run straight out to my tires (which I think is a good thing)! The problem is, once I put my sway arm on, flipped over like the instructions say or I even tried the factory way, it hits on my tie rods. I can see if I had the stocker centerlink on the bends in it would allow the sway bar to clear, but it wont with a straight centerlink. So far I have been running without the sway bar. I am thinking of welding some plates on the front drop/crossmember that came with the kit and position it that way.
Has anyone else had any experience with this?

i have a TC 4inch lift but had no problems with my SD centerlink/tierods clearing the sway bar.....here resently i took it off though for pulling reasons since im running a E locker in the front diff.....IMHO i would just leave it off....I didnt notice that much of a difference

jason you could be having issues due to that pro comp uses a steering drop bracket compared to knuckle lifts like t.c., i would either fab something up or just go back to using a stock centerlink, i would try to uses your sd link though because i believe that drob steering bracket that pro comp uses will significantly weaken your front end, i know i bent two of them in my old gas burner truck and it didnt have half the power of your truck

Eric what kind of problems are you running into with the sd link and elocker? i would like to know because i am doing the same thing as soon as they come off backorder

None, both are working flawlessly so far...Alls i did was remove the front sway bar for traction reasons...but im not convinced that it helped any

So far I cant even tell the sway bar is off. I'll probablly leave it that way until this winter until I can fab something up (or SD comes up with something handy).
Travis, I know exactly which drop you are talking about. I had to put it on a couple of times before I got it the right way. I think there is only two ways it goes on but I got confused and put it right back on the same way I took it off the first time. What were you bending on these? I'd like to know so I know what to look for.

I thought I had something wrong b/c yesterday my steering didnt feel right and it grabbed hard when I turned once. Today I found out why when going through a mudhole--CV joint went out--no 4wd when that happens!!

Pictures? Maybe when its clean sometime! I bet there was no more than 45 minutes between the time the truck was dropped off of the jackstands and I was in town at the fair competing in the MUD drags. I havn't washed it yet. I go through muddy field trails almost all day everyday keeping irrigation going. The only time I'm not doing that is when it's raining--muddy roads :D
