They were talking to Tony Pedregon on ESPN2 last night and he said that maybe this will get them to lengthen the shut down area. He said the cars are getting faster but the tracks are not getting any longer. Said that maybe that would have saved him.

It is a terrible loss for the NHRA racing community. That family has done a lot for racing over the years. Our thoughts are with them.

They were talking to Tony Pedregon on ESPN2 last night and he said that maybe this will get them to lengthen the shut down area. He said the cars are getting faster but the tracks are not getting any longer. Said that maybe that would have saved him.

I don't think a longer shut would of helped here. But that track and a lot of tracks were not built for 330 plus.

I dont think the shut down had much to do with his death i think the explosion had quite abit to do with it .

After the explosion the car made no attempt to slow down no chute or nothing .

What a terrible loss
