Any advantage or benefits to having a SCCA License? I was thinking about trying to get mine next spring, in Arizona. Does anyone have a license or know how hard it was to qualify? Thanks

Been awhile.
IIRC:
First you will need to take a driving school like Bondurant. It must include door-to-door racing around a roadrace course. They give you a card that allows to you apply for a competition roadracing license.
The next step was to actually enter a race in legal car. I didn't have a legal car so I let the card expire. IIRC, they "watch" you for a couple of races, and if everything's OK, they issue your permanent license.
