Doin the spin on every 10k is about right, my trans was shifting funny after 11k and I changed the spin on and it made a huge difference

Spin on every other oil change (around 8-10k miles). Fluid and internal I do every other season as I feel more comfortble with that, even if it is overkill. I tow 10k in the summer into the VT mountains a number of times and I'm not easy on my truck. I had so many problems with one of my tranny's burning up fluid (problem w/trans that GM Lemon Lawed), that I don't like taking chances.

Can't say for sure what your intervals "should" be, but with what you invested in that trans, I would (being anal) change out the fluid and all filters.

i havent done either.. just the damn shaffer fluid is so high.

LOL you think Schaffer is expensive fluid try Transynd LOL. You should change probably every 20k or sooner... It depends how you drive your truck. I've got about 30 passes at the track and about 5,000 driving miles since Mike refreshed my tranny last May.

That's sad you only drive 5k a year:eek: Report you for truck neglect :frog:

Mike just changed all of mine when he pulled the co-pilot
