no still a pistol. That's just an arm brace according to the atf.
I picked up that exact ak pistol yesterday. Although im not really a fan of the arm brace stocks.
Wouldn't that have to be registered as an sbr? I was told adding any kind of "real" stock to one was illegal unless you apply with the batf.
No. As I said above the BATF doesn't recognize this as a stock. It is an arm brace nothing more. There's been official memos posted if you do a little searching.
I know my forearm brace is legal. I was asking mike if what he wanted to do was legal. He said above about drilling and tapping the end on his. So other than the armbrace I have on mine what else can you put on one that does not have to be registered, I couldn't find anything.
Mine would only have a sling. No stock.
I don't understand the point in this sorry, looks like it would be very uncomfortable. Standard firing grip it has to pinch on the forearm. Unless you are going action movie style and one arm it?
For me its somewhat o.k. I had a slidefire on my wasr, now that was a little rough. I sold it,wasted to much ammo.I have one of these on my AR pistol and, not that I ever have but, if you use it in a manner not intended to be used by the manufacturer and shoulder it I understand that it is very comfortable to shoot.
