Picked one up today. Took about 30 seconds to install.

I'm going to drill and tap the back plate where the normal stock would go and put a single point swivel sling mount on it. I want it hanging from my shoulder.

Wouldn't that have to be registered as an sbr? I was told adding any kind of "real" stock to one was illegal unless you apply with the batf.

No. As I said above the BATF doesn't recognize this as a stock. It is an arm brace nothing more. There's been official memos posted if you do a little searching.

I know my forearm brace is legal. I was asking mike if what he wanted to do was legal. He said above about drilling and tapping the end on his. So other than the armbrace I have on mine what else can you put on one that does not have to be registered, I couldn't find anything.

I don't understand the point in this sorry, looks like it would be very uncomfortable. Standard firing grip it has to pinch on the forearm. Unless you are going action movie style and one arm it?

A sling wouldn't matter.

Mine would only have a sling. No stock.

It saves you $200 and a 7-12 month wait to register it as a short barreled rifle. It also saves you from having to engrave your name and address on the receiver.

Just ordered an SB15 for my AR pistol. These are pretty nice.

After shooting a pistol with one of these, I had to have one. Lengthwise it is like shooting a carbine with stock collapsed. Increases accuracy greatly... you can actually shoulder it, although that is not the intended use.

Still need an SB47 for my PAP pistol.

You dont have to keep it on your forearm. I squeezed it against my shoulder, like a real stock, and shot it out back the other day. Keeps it under control, feels like shooting a normal a.k.

I have one of these on my AR pistol and, not that I ever have but, if you use it in a manner not intended to be used by the manufacturer and shoulder it I understand that it is very comfortable to shoot. ;)

For me its somewhat o.k. I had a slidefire on my wasr, now that was a little rough. I sold it,wasted to much ammo.
