Same tune, different trucks, timing knock

Same tune, both 05 LLY's, one truck is noticably louder in regards to timing knock. where one truck(LBZ mouth peice, S&B intake, 3.5" DP, 4" dual MBRP) is nice and quite threwout the RPM's/load the other truck(stock, 4" cat back) has a noticable timing knock. tried other tunes that I have ran on my personal truck and it seems that this truck still knocks more then I remember my truck doing. just seems to be a clanky truck. any opinions?

I thought I remembered reading somewhere that different engines could have the crank/cam pickup sensors out of alignment by as much as 2+ degrees from each other. Perhaps this truck has the sensor in a more advanced position?

You could try dropping a couple degrees from the entire timing table and see what it sounds like.

The injectors in the truck that is noisy are probably going bad.

Load the stock tune in it. If the knock is still there, it's the truck. If not, it's the tune.

noisy truck has 60k miles, injectors balance better then the quite truck. I have yet to get this truck back but will play with it some more and post back. its nothing crazy, more so interesting
