I'm just getting tired of major chains saying to much custom work so the won't touch it. Just needed my ps gearbox and the ac to be recharged but low and behold, there are non gm parts on it so firestone can't touch it. I don't have time to do it myself, it's not rocket science.

Moved to Smoke Signals, as not engine-related.

What'd you expect? Its Firestone. Ive had bad luck with them in the past for simple stuff. They screwed up my daughter's car something terrible.
Have no idea what you have done to the truck, but even with some mods, that doesnt explain them not at least recharging the AC. Oh well, go somewhere else next time.

Yep, my wife swears by em so I go there for a simple job and they fed me a line. I will just wait till I find time to do it myself

Made plans to go see me mechanic to do ps with bleed, steering dampener, pitman and idler, lbz fpr with a retune for dsp5, and a mod on my pro fab turbo inlet, drop shackles out back, and new shocks all around. Maybe 3 hrs between the two of us
