Yeah ive seen a few gmc trucks worse but i agree. It would bother me also. Did u go under and see how the plastic cap attaches? If theres a way to hold the plastic to the Bumper tight?

From what I can tell there is a hard plastic frame that sets on top of the metal part of the bumper but underneath the trim piece and with out taking it apart I can't tell if maybe somethin just isn't right or what.. I'm guessing the previous owner had a ranch hand on the front.. You can see where some plastic was shaved and then I guess before trading it in they may have just slapped the stock bumper back on it

I know when i color matched my front, its not your new body style, there were clips u pushed in and popped in place. Maybe they didnt install the upper piece correctly and its bowin up in the middle.

I'm hoping that is the case, I'd go take some pics but its cold outside lol and I hate the cold

Worst comes to worse ill be building a bumper but I like that trim piece that's bowed so it would be under that piece if possible .. Seems like a pain to have to fabricate all around the lights and the grill .. I weld/fit all day everyday so it wouldn't be a problem but seems like a lot of extra work

I really like the way it looks now so I'm hoping my buddy can help me fix it.. But after looking online it seems a lot of GMCs have the same problem .. I just figure if its gonna cost me to fix it I'd rather invest into a bumper.. And if I make it its gotta look like it would come factory
